Hello Everyone!
This past week my friend and I went to the movies. We decided to go to the remodeled MJR Digital Cinemas. Since neither one of us has been there, we didn't know what to expect. It was very clean and brightly lit like your normal movie theaters. I was under please with the theater it self until I sat in the seats. They're nice size, black leather rocking chairs. I would tell anyone in the Westland area to go check out this movie theater.
While I was in the theater, my friend and I went to see Ride Along staring Ice Cube and Kevin Hart. I was surprise on the level of action that was in the movie. The movie show case how much Kevin Hart's character is willing to go through for his dreams and to prove his love for his girlfriend to her overly protective brother played by Ice Cube. I like the movie, but I am not a fan of cop movies and this was a cop movie. I also didn't like all the reference to the movie Training Day. The ending of the movie was very "by the book" when it comes to a ending of a movie. It really do not take much time to figure out the next scene in the movie because it is a topical cop movie. Within the first 30 minutes of the movie I knew everything that was going to happen. The best parts was the comedy given by Kevin Hart. All and All it was a nice movie to go see with friends or your partner.

Personal rant
I just had to write these feelings out. It's a personal rant that I am posting just to show someone out there that is going through something like this that you are not alone.
I started this out not knowing what to say. This thought has been really have on my heart as of the past few months. I feel like this is a safe place for me to express these thoughts and emotions. I been in love with a man for 10 years of my life, but I always been the best friend. For 10 years, I just played my role as my heart bleed. Don't get it wrong, I had relationships, but my heart always wanted him. I tried and tried so many times to get over him and "let it go", but there was always something not allowing me to let go. Now I see that the writing is on the wall and he has a girlfriend, but that force will not let go. I miss my best friend, but this foolish pride will not allow me to reach out to him. I guess I don't want to seem like a pest or something. I guess I just got to get use to not talking to him, and it's going to be hard since I known him since I was 14.

What is a "Friend" to you?
What are friends to you? No, I'm not talking about these friends, but
according to the Merriam-Webster dictionary the word means:
according to the Merriam-Webster dictionary the word means:
b : acquaintance
a : one that is not hostile
b : one that is of the same nation, party, or group
: one that favors or promotes something (as a charity)
: a favored companion
Do you agree with this definition? I do in part. Yes, your friends are attach to you by affection. If something happen to your friend or even when they get sick, you always there to help them feel better. I don't agree so much with the esteem part because I do not understand what they mean by "esteem" in this content.
By this definition, your mate can be called a "friend". This question came to my mind as I was hanging out with a long time best friend of mine. I always wonder how do we pick are friends. Is it true that our friends represent a part of us that we are not allowed to show do to our position in society? I also wonder what make you no longer want to be friends with someone. There are many different question that can come about with this definition, but I know for a fact in my case that my friends are my family, clear-mind in a storm, and shoulder to cry on. I could go on and on about this topic, but I want to hear from you.
In the comments tell me what the word "friend" mean to you.
